Moments before...

This was taken just a few minutes (seconds?) before Ian slipped and fell under the guard rail and off the bridge, breaking his arm. Talk about lame.
Lame.
Talk about it.
Now this photo has a sort of dooming quality to it that makes it difficult to enjoy.

That was on the President's Day holiday a couple of weeks ago, while we were at the park with Tony and his kids.

It turns out that it is a spiral fracture in his upper arm (I'm not medical).

Lame. Really lame. It hurts. Us more than them, I think. Cooper broke his leg when he was three. It was lame too. Well wishes your way.

Poor child. I hope he's coping well. It looks like a clean break. Will it heal without leaving a lump on the bone?

Thank you both!

Teresa - leg? Double lame.

Annette - He is coping remarkably well. Loves to tell everyone about his dinosaur cast. The doctor removed the cast today and did another x-ray. It's healing really fast and we left with no cast and no splint! Three weeks! I couldn't believe it. Now he has to get his arm back in shape.
